Petition: For and Against
Who: Faculty, Students, Staff, Alumni, and Community Members
How many: Please try to get at least 100 signed petitions a week.
What to Ask: Ask people if they would sign a petition to Support or not support a Student-Run Co-op. Make sure to equally offer petitions for and against. When against, try to figure out why. Survey both. We want the Co-op to represent those for and against and to meet the needs of those against.
Ways to Petition:
c Get your friends
c Talk for 30 seconds in front of your classes and get everyone to sign a petition.
c Stand in front of the dining halls.
c Red Square
c Walk around town
c Post the petition at your work.
c Walk through the VU, the Rec Center, buildings, etc...
c Carpe Diem. Use your creativity.
Keep track of your Petitions: Signed but not returned Petitions mean we lose out.
Co-op Group Letter
c Get Group Outreach form filled in by any clubs, committees, hall councils, or campus entities you can.
c Post the info on the Wiki under partners.

c Have them sign the business endorsement sheet
c Follow/Fill Out Business Checklist
Donations
We are not a non-profit yet and have not been approved by the school so it is bad time to ask for money. We do really need money and donations of any kind. If someone donates, we would be grateful and the person who collects the donation should promptly write a thank-you letter.
